Ing. Peter Máčaj
Chief Executive Officer

He completed his studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He started his professional career in PVT Bratislava. He later co-founded Slovanet, a.s., where he currently holds the position of Chief Executive Officer and is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Máčaj, with more than 10 years of experience in executive positions, is one of the most experienced managers in the telecommunications industry.

Ing. Marta Rošteková, PhD.
Executive Director

She has completed a number of management courses at Vienna University in addition to her university studies of economics in Bratislava. She earned a diploma in business and economics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and a Master of Arts degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. She worked for several years in the banking sector. Since 2004 she held the position of Financial Director. Since 1.1.2020, she has been the Executive Director.

Ing. Martin Datko
Financial Director

He graduated from the Faculty of Economics of the Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica and since 2000 he has held various business positions from retail, business to wholesale in the telecommunications sector. He has been with Slovanet since 2006, where, in addition to voice wholesaling, he was responsible for implementing the company's acquisition strategy, which resulted in more than 20 acquisitions and subsequent integrations of local electronic service providers into Slovanet over the past 14 years. He has been the Chief Financial Officer since 1.11.2021.

Ing. Rastislav Faith
Chief Operating Officer

He completed his studies at the Electrical Engineering Faculty at the University of Žilina, with a specialisation in telecommunications. He began his professional career at Slovenské telekomunikácie, a.s. as a technician. He then spent nine years at the mobile phone operator Orange where he was responsible for the design and planning of GSM and UMTS networks. He began working for Slovanet in 2008 as the Manager of the Department of the Network Construction and Maintenance. Since March 2011 he has been the Chief Operating Officer and manages the areas of telecommunications, IT, technical support, logistics and operator relationships.

Ing. Tomáš Jaššo
Director of Business Development

He is a graduate of University of Economics in Bratislava and had been working as a Sales Director at eTel, Quadia and GTS Slovakia/Benestra for 13 years. He considers building the company eTel from scratch to a significant alternative operator to be one of his greatest achievements which also include the involvement in development and gradual integration of the companies Quadia, Telenor, Nextra, Aliatel and Dial Telecom/eTel. He has been the Director of Business Development and a member of the management at Slovanet since summer 2015.

Ing. Martin Magdolen
Director of Sales Support

Mr Magdolen graduated from the Faculty of Business Management at University of Economics in Bratislava. During his professional career, he has held numerous positions in information technology and online marketing. He has focused on the development of the product portfolio at Slovanet for the household and corporate segment since 2011 and has led the product management team since 2015. During his work at Slovanet, he has been involved in the roll out of numerous successful products and technologies for the residential and corporate segments. He was named the Director of Sales Support in February 2017.

Tatiana Trebatická, MSc.
Director of human resources

Besides successfully completing the Human Resources Management degree at Sheffield Hallam University, she also holds several international accreditations/certifications in the area of individual and team development e.g. Diploma in Team Coaching (International Center for Business Coaching) and Associate Certified Coach (International Coaching Federation) and long-term training in the same field. Moreover she also possesses extensive experience – more than 20 years, with human resource management in companies in the field of energy (Slovnaft), FMCG - B2B (Tetra Pak) and IT (Schneider Electric) not only in Slovakia but also in other EU countries.
Since September 1, 2021, she has been the director of human resources in Slovanet.

Mgr. Martin Žák
Sales Director for Corporate Sales

He studied at the University of Northern Iowa, USA, and subsequently graduated from the Comenius University of the Faculty of Arts and the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport. During his 19-year professional career he worked in various business positions for corporate clients in Orange Slovensko a.s. for 6 years and later he was responsible for the B2B and B2C Back Office department for 4 years as a Senior Manager. In 2015, the company Microsoft Slovakia, s.r.o. offered him to take over the sales team management with the main goal to sell the cloud services to corporate clients and support their user experience.
Since 1.4.2020 he joined Slovanet as a Sales Director for Corporate Sales.

Ing. Ivan Kostelný
Deputy Chairman

Mr Kostelný completed his university studies at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. His professional career began at Levočské strojárne, gaining further valuable experience as the head of distribution and logistics at Nowaco Slovakia. He later became the sales director at PSG, a.s. and then the sales and customer service director at Slovanet. He works as an adviser and project consultant in acquisitions in addition to his membership in the Board of Directors.

Ing. Peter Tomášek
Member

Mr Tomášek is a graduate of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He began working as a system engineer and network specialist at PVT Bratislava in 1993. During his professional career, he completed a two-year working stay at the Cisco Systems Technical Assistance Centre in Belgium. He became a member of Slovanet's board of directors where he currently focuses on strategic consulting for networks and network technologies after several years as its technical and operations director.

Ing. Juraj Kováčik
Member

Mr Kováčik studied at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. Following graduation, he worked as a robotics researcher at the Slovak Academy of Science's Automation and Communication Institute in Banská Bystrica, after which he worked for various technological companies. He worked in an executive position as sales director at Slovanet from 2000 to 2008.
