He completed his studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava. He started his professional career in PVT Bratislava. He later co-founded Slovanet, a.s., where he currently holds the position of General Director and is Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Máčaj, with more than 25 years of experience in executive positions, is one of the most experienced managers in the telecommunications industry.
Mr Magdolen graduated from the Faculty of Business Management at University of Economics in Bratislava. During his professional career, he has held numerous positions in information technology and online marketing. He has focused on the development of the product portfolio at Slovanet for the household and corporate segment since 2011 and had led the product management team since 2015. During his work at Slovanet, he has been involved in the roll out of numerous successful products and technologies for the residential and corporate segments. He was named the Director of Sales Support in February 2017. As of September 2023, he became Chief Executive Officer.
She has completed a number of management courses at Vienna University in addition to her university studies of economics in Bratislava. She earned a diploma in business and economics at the University of Antwerp, Belgium, and a Master of Arts degree at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania. She worked for several years in the banking sector. Since 2004 she held the position of Financial Director. Since 1.1.2020, she has been the Chief Executive Officer.
As of 1 April 2023, the Human Resources Department was temporarily moved under the Chief Executive Officer. She has been Financial and HR Director since September 2023.
He has been working at Slovanet since 2005. He has gradually worked his way through several technical, project and managerial positions. From 2019 to 2023, he held the position of Head of Innovation, Individual Solutions and Strategy, where he and his team were responsible for analyzing internal and market needs, identifying new solutions and their design, preparing pilot solutions and commissioning them. Since September 2023, he has held the position of Chief Operating Officer and, with his team, covers the areas of telecommunications networks, IT, technical support, logistics and carrier relations. He is also temporarily in charge of the Network Construction and Maintenance department.
She is a graduate of the Faculty of Commerce at the University of Economics in Bratislava. She started her professional career in 2011 with Slovanet, where she started in the product department, which she later headed for two and a half years. She was involved in strategic projects of acquisitions, innovation implementation and development of regional approach strategy in the residential segment. Since 2022, she has been working as a Sales Director at RadioLAN, spol. s r.o. Since January 2024, she has been leading the newly established Residential Department, which combines the Residential Sales and Customer Service Department and the Product Management and Marketing Department.
He completed his studies at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Comenius University in Bratislava, where he successfully defended his doctoral thesis. He then worked in Austria in the field of consulting and sales of innovative IoT solutions focused on SMART Agriculture. Later, he became the Director General of a section at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of the Slovak Republic, where he led the section responsible for the digitalization of data used for direct payment administration within the Common Agricultural Policy. His career at Slovanet began in 2020, when he joined as Strategy and Acquisitions Manager, focusing primarily on activities related to the public sector and the delivery of specific projects. He currently serves as the Sales Director for Corporate Sales.
He is a graduate of University of Economics in Bratislava and had been working as a Sales Director at eTel, Quadia and GTS Slovakia/Benestra for 13 years. He considers building the company eTel from scratch to a significant alternative operator to be one of his greatest achievements which also include the involvement in development and gradual integration of the companies Quadia, Telenor, Nextra, Aliatel and Dial Telecom/eTel. He has been the Director of Business Development and a member of the management at Slovanet since summer 2015.
